![]() ![]() is more like going to a restaurant and ordering "the trout with veggies" or "barbaque ribs". in the actual versions of the custom plugins you cant "choose the ingredients" like if it was a recipe. One thing needed to mention (that im not sure if itt was mentioned in the thread of the link) is the custom plugin is "repurposing" the combinations of videocodec+resolution+bitrate+audiocodec availables by the official videorec pluginĪnd that list of avalable combinations is limited to some "predefined" ones sony considered was handy for other functions (suchs remote play to psp) Thank you.Ĭlick to expand.Take a read at that whole thread btw, the info posted in it mostly by mysis and neozero is very interesting to understand how it works and the problems they was trying to solve Sorry if this was a bit long, just wanted to be thorough. Im versed in the fact that its buggy and imperfect and all the rest of it, but I really just want to give it a good go anyways. If there's a way to make a debug log and submit it I'll do that too.Īlso, I am aware that the screen recording plugin doesn't work "well". If reformatting my entire console is the solution to this, I'll gladly do it, just let me know. Webman was also latest and 'full install'. Im running latest rebug (as of writing) 4.82.2 REX on a CEX console. That process again: crash back to recovery and then full reboot with file system check after activating the screen record plugin Crashing to recovery after activating a plugin, could this possibly ring any bells with anyone? There's such scant information available on google for this plug in let alone this issue. When I try to take a screenshot in XMB with mysis poc plugin, screen will freeze (but I will still be able to move around xmb with d-pad because I can hear the clicking sound-effect), in fact Ill still be able to " blindly" turn the console off from there. Ive always treated my console well, I've never bricked soft or hard or anything like that (fortunately), and I did in fact reformat it approximately 12 or so months ago and haven't abused it otherwise either physically or with software since. That seems to suggest its not in fact webman causing this, but perhaps my console or the software. I even tried the version of mysis before that, same thing. ![]() *THEN* I uninstalled webman, and installed the standalone mysis poc plugin on there just to test (version 0.2.1.2a) and of course, same result. This was always on full version webman with the checkbox ticked on shortcuts setup. My results with screen recording are always the same irrelevant of how I start the recording, be it inside the web browser of webman, or the shortcut combo. I actually went ahead and completely uninstalled webman, reinstalled, tried again, same deal. I've tested this almost a dozen times now, same result each time. From there, will then have to go through reboot and the 'check file system' motions. When Im in the game, I hit the PS button first of course to bring up virtual XMB, then hit the appropriate button combo -> Select+R3 my ps3 will immediately crash to recovery. I'm trying to record video in God of War 3 using webman mod. ![]()
